I have seen many people suggest the 5600x, some people say there could be some bottleneck, and some others say the 12400f, 12600k, works well with the 6750xt but there are better choices, so I got a bit confused here.

I do not have a motherboard yet so I could go with either AMD or Intel, I need a budget CPU that would allow me to play and get the most out of my 6750xt on 1440p.

I also do some productivity work on the side.

I'm a bit lost here and not sure which CPU to go with, I also heard the Ryzen 7600 could work with the 6750xt but not sure yet (AM5 & DDR5 are a bit expensive too), I need your opinions.

(The 5800X3D is out of my budget)

Intel would be a no-no after what's coming to light. You state budget, yet you didn't mention what your limits(high and low) are. Where are you located and what is your preferred site for purchase? If you have the budget...I'd go with a B650 chipset board + DDR5-6000MHz AMD E.X.P.O dual channel ram kit + Ryzen 7600 and call it a day.

I just use amazon.com, I need something that's priced close to a 5600x ($120-$160).

The Ryzen 7600 and DDR5 are great but will get a BIT expensive, I might go for it if that's the best for the 6750xt.

Are there any AM4 options? Would the 5600 or the 5700 do the job? I'm just worried about bottlenecks.

5600x and above is more than capable of sufficing a 6750xt.

Test gpu: 3090Ti

Test cpu: 5800x3D

12600k or 7600x would both be good choices. 13th/14th gen have issues but is being rectified and this mostly concerns people who've had these processors for some time. 12th gen is not affected.
