Need a good $500ish build

Hello! I am not great a PC part picker, so I am asking the community for a good build. I have a base $400 budget. I can either:

Sell my old PC (budget would be $600)

Or

Re-use HDD, Optical Drive, and case (I dunno if I have the technical skills/tools to do this) and sell my processor, mobo, and RAM (budget would be $500)

If you could make builds for both of these scenarios, that would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to play Battlefront and Overwatch on med/high setting on a 1680x1050 monitor with AT LEAST a smooth 30 fps. I have the keyboard/mouse/headphones etc.

Thanks in advance,
ryguybuddy.

Sorry. It didn't paste...
If you sell your entire PC and spend $600 on a build, here is a good one. I don't have a GPU or a case in it. I left a case out so you can pick whatever you think looks good, and I left the GPU out because there is only one RX 480 available right now, and it is $270. I see them come into stock and go out of stock often, so you will just have to be online at the right time. You could also wait for AIB RX 480s (aftermarket cards) with aftermarket coolers and higher clocks, that are typically cheaper than reference cards. And about your fps and graphics demands, an RX 480 would easily be able to max out Battlefront at 60 fps.

I don't see a link...and why no GPU? What's wrong with a GTX 950/960?

And I didn't put a GPU because an RX 480 would fit your budget, but a lot of them are out of stock and the only one that is available is $270. But wait until they are back in stock, and you can get a 4 GB version for about $200 that performs as well as a 970. Or you could wait for the AIB 480s, which is what I am doing. They will run cooler with the aftermarket coolers, and most likely have higher clock. And they may be cheaper too.
