I just got a new Samsung SSD (EVO 860 500gb) to replace my old one (EVO 850 500gb), after installing Samsung Magician, it says that the new SSD is not supported. I tried connecting it as an internal and external and got same no result message.

I need a good alternative to move my data to the new drive.

Thanks in advance.

I use Acronis. Used to use Norton Ghost but Symantec seemed to have bailed on that business. I like how Acronis keeps updating their support for various hardware. Those new SATA, m.2, pvme interfaces, all at one point were new and missing support from all the various imaging software, and Acronis seems to push out their software update for those sooner than the rest.

Samsung support provides software with for all the SSDs. Except Magician the company provides data migration software.
http://

I suggest you either use that or https://www.partitionwizard.com/ a tool that I use also myself to migrate copy and backup my disks either partitions or the entire disks. All tools I recommend are free.
