Hello,

I'm in need of a laptop which is decent but doesn't produce much heat. I'd also like the laptop itself to remain relatively cool so my fingers don't burn while I type, but the actual heat in the room is a huge problem. I currently have a custom build from CyberPower and it's loaded with SSDs and all kinds of powerful stuff and it burns like the sun. I have to sit here with fans on full power all day and I still end up sweating. I need peace and privacy when I work so I keep the door shut all day. Running aircon would cost me £72 a month, so I'm kinda looking at just getting a new laptop instead.

Capabilities I need include:

1) 2 TB HDD

2) Good amount of RAM, say 8 GB minimum

3) Decent graphics (for basic video editing and image editing, maybe some emulated games, nothing fancy)

4) Don't know how much CPU power I need.

5) 17" screen.

I use the laptop for work.
