Need a good motherboard for build

Im building a gaming computer and im looking for a good motherboard thats not to pricey. The current one i was looking at was the MSI Z97 GAMING 5 but im looking to go a bit cheaper
Budget is $100-$150 CAD ($75 to $110 usd)

Is there a motherboard that would run perfect with this build?

Nothing. The MSI board is lighter than I would want to use for overclocking. The best board in your area is the Gigabyte Z97X Gaming 5 and costs another $12.

Below where you are at, you are looking at four un-doubled phases. If you only want 4.0Ghz to 4.2Ghz on your CPU, then just about anything will work. If you want 4.6 to 4.8 Ghz, to are already lower than I would like.

I overclock that chip to 4.8Ghz on an ASRock Z97M OC Formula. (and that's a doubled four phase board)
