Its been atleast 5 years since I built a new PC so Im very out of the loop on whats good as far as PSU's...
I'm building a decent but not insane computer for light gaming. Probably nothing more graphics demanding than skyrim or borderlands 2.
Here is my current setup:
CPU: i5 2500K
GPU: Gigabyte Radeon HD7870 2GB OC (don't intend to overclock this past the stock)
MOBO: TZ77B Motherboard Biostar
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912
Monitor: 21.5" w/ max res 1920x1080p
Corsair Vengeance 8GB RAM
Like I said, nothing overly fancy but definitely an upgrade on my limited budget in comparison to what I had. It is doubtful that I will overclock the cpu or gpu at the moment but I may in the future get a 2nd gfx card so 4x pci-e 6pin connectors would be preferred. I had been looking at the Corsair TX750Watt PSU. (Modular or not is not really an issue to me) Other than that, I'm not sure if that one is good or otherwise what kind of PSU to get as there are so many options out there nowadays.
Thanks!
