ok everyone, i am buying a computer with these specifications, and i am looking for a good graphic card to replace whats in there.
i play WOW, and use my pc for multimedia tasks like watching dvd's and movies on my 42 inch lcd.
any ideas or suggestions?

Three cards I can recommend from the least powerful one to the most. HD5670, HD5750 and HD5770. All of them are a massive upgrade from your current GPU. The question is what is your power supply since the more powerful a card you put in there the bigger PSU you need.
 


Teh 5670 is kind of meh.

It's slower than the 4850, So if you're PSU is 400W or more, get it. ( The 4850/GTS 250)

And 5750 is just to close to 5770 in price too be worth it.

There have been reported compatibility issues with the HD5xxx series and some older Motherboards specially in prebuilds like HP, Dell and etc so to avoid those I would recommend HD4350
 

Most likely but did you read the reviews? They do not sound appealing.
Do you have a budget for this computer? There is a possibility to build a much better system for less than $500
