Need a graphics card.

So i was patiently waiting for the non reference r9 290 to come out so i could grab one. Than i go online and see that they are now $100 more. I need a graphics card for my new build and only have $400 to spend on one. What should i do get a gtx 770, A r9 280x toxic, or see if the non reference r9 290 are $400 at their release or will they be much more? Or what is a better option to get a card?

That is a little bit unrealistic i think at this point, but thanks for the idea. I see that you chose the 770 with pretty much the same parts i would have. How do you like it?

It's good. No problem at all, pretty satisfied. Currently playing BF4 Ultra setting with stable 70+ fps ( higher depending on map, etc.)

That is impressive. I just wonder how much the non reference r9 290 will be and what is the best card out of the three?

Best to least.
290 -> 280x -> 770.
290 is equal par with 780 or bit lower. 280x and 770 are equal cards but however 280x is cheaper, which put it bit higher on the list.

I think that i will end up going with the r9 280x because i dont think the r9 290 is going to drop back to $400 by around January. Can you recommend the best 280x?
