Hi guys, I need your help in building up a new pc. Right now my budget is around 3000 euros.
My needs are basically gaming and programming.
I would like some advice from those who know better than me what's good and what is not.
Is it worth to buy single parts instead of buying the full built pc?
Is it easy enough to build it my self? (never done it before)
Do you know any website that ships in italy and has good prices?
I don't care if you pick an intel or amd processor, just tell me what is the best I can get in your opinion.
TIA

Solution
I'd say get a pre-built. From what I can see, individual pc components would be about the same price of a pre-built before VAT.

You can go for either amd or intel, intel is faster in games but amd will have more cores. So do you want 10 more fps or more cores for better compiling time.

For intel, head on over to here and configure it with:
CPU: i9 10900k(10 core 20 thread)
Motherboard: Any z490, i picked tuf z490-plus
RAM: 2x16gb 3200mhz (rgb or non-rgb, your choice)
Graphics card: RTX 2080 Super
Boot drive: m.2 samsung 970 evo 1tb
Storage drive: 1tb ssd
Power Supply: Corsair RMx 750w
CPU Cooler: Corsair H115i ( you can choose between rgb or pro version)

Thanks for the reply! Atm I have Asus VG248QE as a monitor, I guess I should change it too, can you suggest me one?

You certainly could upgrade to a 1440p or 4k monitor to get the most out of the pc, but you don't have to. I can't recommend anything personally, just be sure to get a VA or IPS panel instead of TN. The TN is what you have and after switching to IPS, I can not recommend any TN panel regardless of specs. Also, regarding monitors with freesync or g-sync, g-sync is nvidias adaptive sync thing and free-sync is now supported by nvidia as well, so it doesn't really matter if you decide for a g-sync or free-sync display.

A 27" 1440 screen would be nice to go with a high end setup, as well as keyboard/mouse/audio setup. Those things are you only actual interface to the computer so you want those as nice as the system, if not nicer. If you buy a $200 steak dinner and it's served with plastic fork and cracked plate, it will feel like you wasted your money hehe.

Only thing is that a good IPS or VA gaming level screen that would be worth replacing yours with is in the 4-500 range. There are some from brands like Viotek that are cheap but there is usually something you give up there like response time or easy support from a better brand.
