Hey folks I am in the market for a new keyboard!
I have tried various cheap USB keyboards.
One I enjoyed was the Logitech K120. This is a very cheap keyboard I picked up from Walmart. It had a nice feel to the keys and was easy to use while gaming. I still have this but it got replaced because the spacebar became difficult to press.
The next one I liked was an Adesso EasyTouch 135. The backlight was nice but it did not save your settings between reboots. I enjoyed the red color but it defaulted to green, eventually it just stayed green all the time. I didn't like the vertical enter key much and the "A" key recently wore out after about a year of use.
So now i'm back to my trusty black Dell OEM keyboard from '00. It has a PS/2 interface but has a major limitation that you can only press two keys at once (big problem in games).
What I am looking for is something that is reliable, sturdy and n-key rollover support for all keys. I am open to mechanical keyboards and backlighting would be a plus but not required. Basically tired of buying junk and need something good that will last a long time with the proper care (like my Dell keyboard!).
This is the mouse I am using if it matters: Anker 2000 DPI Optical Gaming Mouse. Great mouse, has been going strong for about 2 years now. I keep the lighting off because it gets a bit annoying if on all the time.
I could go up to $100 USD but would like to spend way less if possible. Does anything exist in this price range?
