I can't find any documentation on any of the lga 1555 boards. I can't overclock so don't really need a board for that. i just want something that I can use for gaming and thats reliable. My budget is low at 60-70 dollars max. I can buy used as long as its worth it. Thanks alot!!

Solution
the selection of 1155 motherboards is getting thin. my suggestion would be, look for a used namebrand like HP, Dell, Acer, Asus, etc. find one that has a motherboard with the pci-e slots that you're looking for. preferably, find one with like a celeron or pentium and swap in your i5.

There are:
LGA 1150
LGA1151
LGA1155
and
LGA1156
sockets by Intel. Since you're inquiring about a board suitable for an i5-2400, you're talking about the LGA1155 socket.

You'll be fine with an H67 based chipset motherboard. I've built with an ECS H67H2-M board and cost about 100USD. In this day and age though you're not going to find anything below that price outside of Ebay though you can take a look at this 90USD ASUS P8H67-M EVO board.

Do you know anything about ASUS P8H61-M? Looks good to me just want to hear from a more experienced person.
