Have a 6870 at stock voltage. I only raised the core clock by 50Mhz so it's now at 950MHz. The memory clock is at stock 1050 MHz.

I was playing games just fine with no overheat issues. I want to get a little more out of it. What would be a safe setting to raise the memory clock to? And could I raise the core clock a little more?

I don't want to raise the voltage unless anyone knows a safe voltage to set it to. I'm new to this so I'm trying not to go overboard with overclocking without getting advice first.

I'm using MSI Afterburner.

I don't know how high it goes . however if you want to check use the slider to go up by 10 MHz and check for artifacts. keep doing that till you see them and then go down again once by 15 MHz. that's how most people do it. tip: don't do the core and memory at the same time.

what are you using to overclock? MSI Afterburner doesn't let me move the core at anything past 1ghz
