need a monitor!help

hi guys so here is the deal i have two choices for a display i can go for 20 inch samsung monitor that has a display of 1680 x 1050 or i can go for a 46 inch one
that has a display of 1920x1080 so which one is better to go with? i mean i would like a smaller display rather than having a big one but it's that which one would look better?

For PC gaming smaller is better.... but maybe save up a little more and get a 1080p display with a smaller profile? (e.g. 24").
