I see there are a number of different G502 models, Hero, Lightspeed and Proteus Spectrum are the ones I see on amazon. Do you know what the difference is between them and which one I should get, thanks.
The differences are pretty distinct, Lightspeed is wireless, Spectrum has some high end features you probably won't ever use, Hero is the most basic version that fits in the price of the mouse you were looking at. Although it's not what I would call quiet. The good mice with good switches tend to have more of a sound than the business class ones. Logitech actually makes specific silent mice https://www.logitech.com/en-us/articles/silent-mice

I own a 502 Hero SE edition with silver, back when it was on sale for like $35 and it was THE mouse to get at that price I picked one up on a business trip just to have one. It's very smooth feeling, nice click feel, well worth getting it, one of the smoothest sensors I have used, but I just tried it out and it sure had a decent sounding click to it, not loud but not very quiet. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-G502-Performance-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B07PHLBBQR/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=Logitech+G502+Hero&qid=1603761536&s=electronics&sr=1-1&th=1

I have looked at the logitech silent mice but they are similar in size to my logitech m185 which i feel is too small for my hand. Maybe i'll just give up on the silent thing and get the g502.
