I have an asus rog mother board and an asus RTX OC 2070. I love me some RGB but not total overkill and wanted to know what case to get that will actually look very appealing and fit all my components. I will not be using water cooling.

That is entirely subjective. If you are after chassis that have built in RGB features then there aren't that many of them. If you just want room for RGB fans and maybe a controller, there are hundreds.

Would need to know the size of the motherboard and any other specific mounting needs you might have. Drives for example.

Being ROG, black cases would make sense. RGB clashes with pretty much everything but black or white.

Beyond that, do you have any preferences?

Yeah you have a good point at this point ill take a case with good thermals and space for my triple fan RTX270 something with tempered glass to show off the build, any ideas?

Perhaps you are missing the point here. You've only listed two components, one of which could be any number of motherboards, ROG is an extensive product line.

I roughly know how large your typical 3-fan RTX 2070 will be, but that is only one thing.

CPU cooler height is very important, particularly since you say you aren't water cooling. So not knowing what you are using would make any case selection a stab in the dark.

Do you need any 3.5" hard drive mounts?
Do you need need an optical drive?
Do you want RGB fans?
Do you need a fan controller?

A complete build list would be useful.

If airflow is the goal, the cases that offer the best results are not usually the most appealing. Though to some people the utilitarian look is best. If you want a flashy and dynamic case, they'll often opt for design aesthetic over airflow.

There are again, hundreds of choices when it comes to mid-tower and micro tower tempered glass cases. Ranging from $80-300, or more if you go for exotics.

If you want my most basic of recommendation that fits almost any capacity then I like the Phanteks Enthoo series of cases. The Pro M TG has good airflow, offers at least one of every drive type mount, is relatively easy to clean, and does offer many options for water cooling. Though that doesn't mean it is bad for air cooling, just has lots of different cooling options.

I'm sorry, I'm not the best at this Ill list my components bellow

MOTHERBOARD: ASUS ROG Strix X470-F Gaming AMD Ryzen 2 AM4 DDR4 DP HDMI M.2 ATX Motherboard
CPU:
AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler - YD270XBGAFBOX
GPU: ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2070 Overclocked 8G GDDR6 VR Ready HDMI DP 1.4 USB Type-C Graphics Gaming Card (ROG-STRIX-RTX-2070-O8G)
Power Supply: CORSAIR RMX White Series, RM850x, 850 Watt, 80+ Gold Certified, Fully Modular Power Supply - White (Renewed)
RAM:
G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 3000MHz (PC4 24000) Desktop Memory Model F4-3000C16D-16GTZR
M.2 SSD: WD Blue 3D NAND 1TB PC SSD - SATA III 6 Gb/s, M.2 2280 - WDS100T2B0B
Wireless card: ASUS PCE-AC56 PCI Wireless Express Adapter
Monitor: Unknown so far
Case: Unknown so far
Id appreciate any editing you can do for me because I'm very new and tried my best to make a fast good looking build, let me know if I should swap stuff out and what I can do for that monitor and case please and thank you! I am using just an M.2 SSD for storage I have no clue if that's a good idea and I have no clue what an optical drive is so I'm guessing no, and RGB fans would be nice; I don't think I need a controller.

i am currently rocking a Corsair Spec Delta RGB Case, and this case is so clean and nice, as well as having rgb.. I do suggest if you do get it, to get a LED Light strip as it will make it pop more..

I love it as the RGB is not completely overkill.

Most of the RGB cases tend to hide the power supply completely, so you can spend a little less on the normal RM850x. Though honestly you don't need that much power either, the 650W would do just as well. I have mine just in case I ever decide to go back into HEDT chips and need multiple EPS connectors, I doubt I am ever going for multi-GPU again.

So here are a few. The Corsair Spec Delta is a good budget RGB case.

Here is a similarly priced Cooler Master:
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/8w...b520-rgb-atx-mid-tower-case-mcb-b520-kgnn-rgb

This one is a little unique:
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/pQMwrH/lian-li-pc-o11air-rgb-atx-full-tower-case-pc-o11air-rgb

This one is an okay black/white choice, though I personally don't like the fans:
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/pQMwrH/lian-li-pc-o11air-rgb-atx-full-tower-case-pc-o11air-rgb

They start to creep up in price from there. Some of those start having accent RGB things that aren't fans. (Or this one, but it looks terrible for airflow: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/Fp...00m6wn-00-atx-mid-tower-case-ca-1g9-00m6wn-00 )

Or you can buy a case you like the look of and fill it full of RGB fans.

But what is the price you are willing to pay for the case? The price is important too. Or maybe is not. We can suggest you a case - brand/model, considering the price too.
