need a new cpu!

So I need a new cpu, I can run most games atm but my cpu is holding me back 🙁
Don't really want to spend more than £100 but will spend £150
(Oh and I don't really know alot about cpu's so sorry if i'm a bit slow)

AMD A8 6600K Quad Core Processor / CPU running at 3.9GHz (With 4.2GHz Turbo Mode)
MSI A78M-E35 uATX Motherboard
GPU: asus 270x 4GB
16GB RAM
Windows 8
And a 500W coolermaster dont know which one...

The best you can go with is AMD APU A10 7850k but that would barely bring increase in performance !
I suggest you should buy a motherboard with AM3+ socket and get AMD Fx 6300!
that would run most games at high settings . Or go with Haswell i3
You should save up and then upgrade mobo+cpu
upgrading to APU A10 is not gonna bring out considerable increase in performance !

The i3 is a dual core CPU, won´t be that improvement for the future.

Your current build is not upgradeable in my eyes. (yes I know, technically it is, but doesn´t improve the system that much)

personally i think you should get an i5 and a b85, h97 or z97 mainboard from gigabyte, msi or asus. Or you could get a used bundle if your budget is that tight.

A FX-6300 + AM3+ board would be a good choice too.

How much would the ig and 6b5 etc cost?
