Hello everyone

I'm returning my current keyboard for £149.99. Its a corsair k70 rgb vengeance cherry mx red. Its having a tech issue where the keys are unresponsive but the strobe light effect is still working. Im in contact with the manufacturer who have suggested to soft resetting it by holding escape which i have yet to try. I'm not keeping my hopes up as i've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers as well as used a different usb port. All the usb ports are generation 3.0. Im now using a standard dell keyboard which works fine. So if i do return it for a full refund, i would like a recommendation to a new gaming keyboard please. What would you suggest?

the Cooler Master Quickfire series are pretty nice and priced pretty good on most sites. my previous was a compact CM Storm Quickfire TK(cherry brown) and it was very nice. but lacked any extra keys for macro, RGB features, and audio/USB passthrough. though they have versions with these available.

am currently using a G.SKill KM780 RGB(cherry red) and it is also a nice keyboard. i really like the key layout and options have turned out pretty nice after a long time waiting for proper software updates. nice audio & other media controls, multiple RGB profiles, row of extra macro keys, USB & 3.5mm audio passthrough, and some other nice functions. the shape of it is the only negative, has odd steel bars extending outwards on the...

99% of the mechanical Corsair reviews I see are very positive. if the only downside you've experienced is the hardware key issue i would recommend choosing the best priced version between Cooler Master or another Corsair that suits your needs. i would also recommend the Cherry Brown switches if available.
