So it's been around 3 years since I've bought my DA, and it's held up well considering I use the mouse every day. It has registered 31,151,447 clicks on Whatpulse and the mouse got cleaned once every 6 months or so and is disgusting right now.

It's time for a new mouse, any helpful suggestions would be appreciated - preferably under $100

what is wrong with your current deathadder? if its a clicking issue those switches are replaceable for literally dirt cheap.

i'm a deathadder user myself (3.5g) and replaced it with another 3.5g as this was the best option for me given how i liked the mouse. my old one needs to be repaired (again, its cheap but the price on the replacement mouse was so cheap i had to jump on it). why did i get a 3.5g instead of the new version? i like how the 3.5g has a rubberized top and smooth sides which suits my preferences and grip style. i did not care for the rubber side versions or the completely click black versions. also, the 3.5g allows you to use just drivers not synapse

i've tried the proteus g502 and its not bad. good feel, accuracy...

Why not get a new DeathAdder Chroma if you're comfortable with it? If not, a lot of the people I know that used a DeathAdder, switched over to the Logitech G502 Proteus Core and SteelSeries Rival 300

i've tried the proteus g502 and its not bad. good feel, accuracy, decent weight but not heavy and good button layout. coming from the deathadder i had issues with its width and pinky support which was uncomfortable for me given my grip and i did not care for the scroll wheel so i ultimately returned it even though i got it for $30 when it was normally $80 (store counter mixup on price in my favor). i've heard the roccat kone are similar feeling to the deathadder and worth a look for DA fans.
