Need a new GPU that's better than 650 but still compatible

So, I have an Intel Pentium G2020 @ 2.90ghz along with a GTX 650 1gb. I want to upgrade my GPU and I was looking at the 750 ti as it is very cheap and works a lot better than mine. My question is, will my CPU bottle-neck the 750 ti? If not, what card would be compatible, while still being better?

Any sort of help is appreciated,
Elijah

I would get the 750Ti first but later down the line, a CPU upgrade couldn't hurt.

Okay, would you recommend getting a 750ti? Or should I upgrade my CPU first?

Which motherboard are you using ?
I guess you have a PCI Express 2.0 in your motherboard , But your card Gtx 650 supports PCI Express 3.0 . You current card i not giving you its full performance no need to upgrade the GPU it will not give you its full Performance , If you are thinking of changing CPU/GPU i suggest you to change the CPU+MOBO.
I hope it helps you and you understand.

My Friend its the right time to change the System.

2.0 x16 is perfectly fine

no single card can saturate it yet

Nope if a card is supporting 3.0 then it can work perfectly 3.0 instead of 2.0 x16.

I will post some references in morning currently from mobile.

even cutting pcie speed in half to x8, does nothing still within margin of error

like i said 2.0 x16 is perfectly fine, it would be stupid to change motherboards simply for 3.0
