Need a new GPU

Hey guys I'm debating on the GTX 970 or the GTX 960. I want the 4gb version just because I plan on using it for mods on skyrim. I was also looking at the R9 380. Need some help. I want the most bang for my buck

If you have the budget for the 970, I would take it no question.

Agree with Gam3r. If you have the means, definitely get the GTX 970. It's a huge upgrade over a 960.

I'm looking at some right now but they're all so different. I want one thats not too expensive and that is clocked pretty high but runs pretty cool. BTW I'm only gaming on 1080P

970 is the best one per $ right now (with the r9 390 as nearly and equal)...

My recommendation for the 970 is the MSI Gaming.
It runs very cooler, very quiet, and has high build quality. It is also fairly cheap compared to some 970s.

For me is the second best one, prefer the G1 gaming due to a bit more OC potential XD

I owned the MSI GTX 970 4G Gamer and I loved it! I upgraded my Dell Precision from a NVS 310 (don't ask) to the GTX 970. It was awesome.

It runs too loud in comparison and has had some reliability issues, so I usually dont recommend it simply for its extra clock speeds

well, in the soud agree (mostly cause the msi stop the fans). in the reliability... i heard both good and bad of every of them (in the same ammount in this case) so i just prefer to avoid thinking too much on it XD
