Need a new graphics card advice!

Hey guys so here are my specs

AMD-FX-8350
16 gigs of ram upgradable to 32 ddr3
Liquid cooled
650 power supply.
HD 7770 XFX overclocked edition

Ok so my graphics card is from 2012. I need a new one, and its been awhile since I have kept up in graphic cards, but I can tell now is not the time to buy the market is insane right now, but I need one. I am developing in ue4 and my frame rate is just crap.

I was looking at a Gforce 1050 TI. But I think that will be to low powered so I was looking at a 1060. My budget is max of 400 dollars. I keep hearing about 980's but am just lost right now. I think a 1060 would be the way to go. Basically looking for the biggest game for the buck right now.

Please help I need it.

The 980ti's are about the same power as a 1070, however you need to be careful, the used market for the 980ti's can be iffy since alot were used for mining and may be twoards the end of their life. I would say a 1060 will be a good card if you plan on doing 1080P 60FPS gaming.

Right now is a tough time to be buying a good card, that's true. A 1060 is substantially more powerful than a 1050 Ti but I have to wonder if that matters if what you do is mostly develop in UE4. A 1050 Ti will be a massive improvement from what you have and not cost as much.

Well I could try a 1050 TI and see if that works can always send it back. Now the question is there are so many models of it and recommendations under 250?

If you can manage alittle more then 250 I would recommend the EVGA brand cards
