Need a new hardrive

Have a HP p7 1414 6gb AMD quadcore a8-5500 DDR 3 1600 Mhz MOBO -MSI-MS 7778 desktop which needs some upgrades. Seagate1TB SSHD is shot. REALLY NEED SOME ADVICE. Going to upgrade memory to 4x2gb ram. Have a GPU AMD Radeon HD7750D card now. Main use of computer is playing The Sims 4 for 6-8 hrs at a time.

How much disk space do you need? or using right now?

I have a seagate sshd with 1TB but the hardrive is no good. Got to replace it. Didn't need but probably half that. Can't afford a SSD
