Need a new headset

Currently im using logitech g35 and its ok but the whole headset starts to wear off. It sounds decent but not mindblowing so i would say its average for its price. Would you recommend anything better?
Im using my headset for gaming and music.
Btw ive tried razer kraken and it sounds pretty much the same as g35

Get a pair of decent headphones and a cheap zalman mic. Itll sound better than most headsets.

If you want to try something different, you could try the Kingston Cloud range. They are much more balanced than the G35 and Kraken so might be something worth looking at. They sound reasonable and are really comfortable. Also consider getting a soundcard, the headphone amp on even the cheap ones really make a difference in both gaming and music.

It could be worth a look but given how much more expensive it is, I'm not so sure about it. From the reviews I've read, the sound-stage has been improved slightly (it's already pretty good, I own a pair of Cloud Core's) but they leak sound slightly. By no means does it sound like a bad headset, I'm just not sure it's worth the extra cost.

ive owned a Kingston HyperX cloud headset for about 2 years now and I have to say its the best and most comfortable headset I have ever used and ive been told the cloud 2 is even better, so from personal experience I would highly recommended the cloud range
