Need a new laptop for Uni

Need a laptop for design and general Uni use.
Specs I need would be i7/i5, dedicated graphics (Needs to be Nvidia), at least 500gb storage, 16gb ram, at least 6 hours battery life not on load if possible, needs to last 4 years and thin/not looking like a full gaming PC (not like the bulky gaming laptops).

I am looking at something like the razer blade 15 but not quite as expensive but haven't had much luck finding anything anywhere else.

I currently have a Macbook pro late 2013 which has just started to die on me but has survived many bumps and drops and am looking for a similar replacement as I am going to do product design at uni and need a laptop for mainly CAD (Solidworks mostly so needs to be windows), the course is 4 years with a year in industry (placement year) so would need one that can last 4 years. Currently I am looking at the razer blade 15 and wondered if that's any good for CAD and if it would last 4 years (decided this over a laptop with a Quatro graphics card as liked the design and thought it would be less limiting as in if I needed to do anything other than CAD).

If you know any other good durable laptops good for CAD with these specs im open to suggestions:
16gb ram
500gb+ storage (preferably SSD)
Dedicated graphics card
i7 (preferably 8th gen)

Something that is not £2,000 so was wondering if there is anything like that for £1,500 or around that if not cheaper as don't really need a 1060 just a form of dedicated graphics like a 1050 or something.
