Hello,
I am looking for a new monitor to support my new graphics card which should be arriving tommorow.

My old "17 dell has been around for too long and running 1280x1024 and i feel as a gamer i need to keep up with the rest. Due to having this being the best monitor ive ever used for PC gaming my knowledge is very lacking on monitors

Graphics card i purchased is the MSI 4870 1GB
http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=proddesc&maincat_no=130&cat2_no=137&prod_no=1527

I believe it can handle 1920x1080 resolutions fine , although this isnt a necessity if a good monitor of this resolution doesnt fall into my budget.

the only one i have found that sounds about right so far is the Samsung "22 below

Any help would be grealty appreciated ! :)

Well my local stores are Curry's and PCworld and they all seem to sell a limited amount of monitors and i got told to go for 2ms monitor and found that to be the only one that displays 1920x1080.

If anyone has any input on that monitor or others similar that would be great, thanks

Hmm i guess youre right i just didnt want to rush into buying that monitor with my limited knowledge and realise theres some obvious reason for that ridiculously cheap price :) found it like £20 cheaper at dixons somehow.

Any other input is welcomed before i go ahead and by this baby.

thanks :)
