[SOLVED] Need a new monitor

I bought a sapphire 580 nitro+OC with DP,HDMI,DVI-D and had a vga monitor , I thought I would use adaptor and it would work ,
I have used 2 adaptor :

1. DP to VGA
2. HDMI to VGA

They didn't worked but direct using HDMI worked in one of repair shops
My monitor has only vga
Now shopkeepers are telling me to buy a new monitor

What should I do now

• Try a good Adaptor
• Buy a new monitor
• destroy my pc with hammer and eggs😭😭

Please give me some budget monitor links 😿

What adapters are you using, specifically? They need to be "active". Could you post links to what you bought?

Ultimately, given you can probably sell the VGA monitor for ~$30 pretty easily, and an adapter will cost you ~$25 (probably minimum)..... It's probably going to be a better/easier route to just pick up a budget 1080p monitor with HDMI . They can be as low as $60-$70 new for something basic...
