Need a new processor cant decide which to buy intel or amd? help me pls

Hello guys, so im looking to upgrade my pc. Currently i have an AMD fx 6300 and the upgrade im looking for is the Intel i7 8086k&9700k or the AMD threadripper 1950x/1920x. Im a causal gamer(plays fortnite, dota2, cs go) but the main reason for the upgrade is coz i want a processor which is capable of handling software like flstudio, pro tools, lightroom cc, Photoshop. I'm a music producer who makes music on fl studio and i use some external plugin so i need a processor which is capable of handling those plugins without any load on them. So i want to know which would be the best choice to go for? Also i don't really care about how much fps i get in a game all i need is a processor which is able to handle those software without any CPU load. I have to buy a case, motherboard and power supply(i have a 500watts) and cooler so including all those i came to an conclusion of buying those processors and i cant increase my budget.

What kind of a budget do you have? That's the first question.

I came from an fx 6300 to a ryzen 1600. Trust me, it's a great upgrade. Either of those systems will be great for you. A budget option might be too get a lot of the performance would be maybe look at the ryzen 7 2700 or 2700x.

Also, I think the ryzen 3000 series is supposed to release next year, so and supposedly that is supposed to be a good change and bump for performance.

thanks for you help i figured it out and going for intel is better than and in this case. i might buy the i9 9th gen.
