With Ryzen 3rd gen coming out in about a month and a half I'd probably get a cheaper Ryzen 5 1600 for now and excellent aftermarket cooler and overclock it to 4ghz. This will give you near 2600/2700X gaming performance and may hold off a CPU upgrade until 4th gen in 2020 which is rumored to be the last CPU gen for the AM4 socket. Going with the cheaper CPU allows for a better GPU (up to 1440P gaming) and the 1600 has hyperthreading so should handle the video editing well.

What's wrong with it?
The only potential issue I see with it is that PSU. While the CXM series are ok 450W is cutting it very close, especially for a system that would be gaming & video editing. Plus with that kind of budget there's no really no reason to grab a cheaper, lower wattage PSU and take the risk of possibly ruining some parts. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/fqVHP3
