need a new wifi card for laptop

hi there, i need to get a new wifi card for my Acer aspire vn 591g-78jh.
i can't seem to find out what type/format that fit, am i right if i say m2 form factor, is that used for wifi cards as well?
the curent card is a qualcomm atheros nfa 222/AR5BWB222, don't know why it haves to names.

the way most laptops are made you need to find an exact replacement as the way the bios on laptops are made they are programed only to work with specific wifi cards for that model and will throw fits when you try to use another model/brand wifi card. Yes they are a m2 form factor.
