Need a NVIDIA card that meets the R7 250

I have fighting with asus to replace my card that artifacts and finally got them to replace it but the new card runs at 93*C and crashes the system and now they are saying there is nothing wrong with it and will not issue another RMA for it. I just am going to buy a new card from SOMEONE OTHER THAN ASUS. I was looking at a Gt 740 by PNY or EVGA. Does anyone know a card for less than $100 that will meet or exceed the R7 250?

The Geforce GTX 750 is probably better than that.

Thanks for the reply. I went a bought a XFX R7 250X so I can have dual graphics when I upgrade to a compatible CPU.
