Hey guys building a pc for a friend and I need some advice.
Please suggest a system which meets the following

He is a gamer however he may go into streaming

This needs to include a 4k monitor

He wants a nice looking case.

Please place your builds here so you can help me.

Kind Regards
Tyler

With video cards and ram at all time high this will be a challange. A 4k capable card will eat half your budget. Even if a 4k card is not necessary at the moment, the prices are beyond ridiculous right now.

check https://pcpartpicker.com/ and good luck.

Solution

That budget is not high enough for 4K gaming he should go for 2K instead.
ALL the GTX 1080ti video cards that are in the 6/700 buck area are out of stock and their way overpriced including the one listed above.

^^^^^^ out of stock everywhere

Here's a build Parts list It's a little over the budget, but it includes nearly everything you need.

CPU - Ryzen 5 1600
Motherboard - MSI b350 pc mate atx
Ram - 16 GB ddr4 2400
Storage - 525 gb m.2 ssd + 1 TB blue drive
GPU - GTX 1080 ti
Case - Cooler master masterbox lite RGB
PSU - 650w 80+ gold full modular
Monitor - Samsung 4k 28"
Extras - DP cable

Total: £1694.39

P.S. Wait until gpu prices go back down, right now ram and gpu are overpriced. You can also remove the ssd and save £125.

The shortage hasn't affected the UK and EU markets yet. Doesn't mean they're out of the woods entirely but so far there, the prices haven't been as affected as they are in North America.
