Running a gtx970 an fx6300 and want a 650w psu, but I cannot for the life of me find one thats reliable or good tier. I need some recommendations please, and if possible maybe something I can just pickup retail.

The RM650 is poor value, and the NEX 650 G is poor quality.
I'm happy to admit being wrong if the occasion demands it but I have heard nothing of the sort, if you would care to evidence your statements then feel free. Otherwise I'm not inclined to take any notice of your statements.

Also, the RM series has heat troubles and is way overpriced especially when you can get a way better RMx unit for about the same cost.
I don't see anything overly negative in that review however I do take your point on the RM series, I actually thought I had linked an RMx but oh well. Thankyou for clarifying your point friend

Do you see the ripple in that review? The 5V is out of spec, even though OKwolf doesn't realize it. Or look at the 12V regulation. And some of the capacitor choices.
