Need a recommendation for new HDD

Hi all!

I want a 2TB HDD for my PC, it will be used as storage, but will be excessively used for transferring files from it to other HDD's and vice versa.

By excessively I mean, several GB almost every day.

I can get any HDD I want? or there are better choices according to my use?

Seagate Barracudas are very nice. and Western Digital Black hard drives are very heavy duty and designed for the kind of traffic you are talking about.

The WD Red drives are specifically for NAS usage. Most of the vendors have models that are NAS optimized. Your scenario is a "NAS like" scenario.

I would go with ether a WD red or black drive. Both of them are made for that kind of abuse.
