So its pretty much a basic replacement for my router, I'd like to spend as little as possible.

My current router is from like 2007 and drops signals like crazy and doesnt even support my max speeds though i doubt i'd get it anyway even if it did. And no theres no crowded channel issues or anything it just straight isnt working good anymore

So I dont need anything special besides 4-5 ethernet ports. I only have 60/5 speeds so literally everything can support that im sure. If QoS is available that'd be good but not needed.

Thanks for any input.

if you go cheap your going to have the same issues. with wifi routers with a lot of devices using them if there not built well you get heat issues. look for ones with ram for cache and newer n300 or faster speed. if you can look for one with both the 2.4 and 5g speeds.
Do you live with other people? If that's the case then you'll probably have to get a slightly better one. How fast is your internet? 100mbps? 500mbps? 1gbps? The only parts that really matter are the ethernet ports, the max speed and the output types.
