depending on your budget, the Intel 910 series is fast. I have the Asus RaidR ROG, which is pretty fast. I know OCZ had some fast PCI based SSD's, but I am no longer a fan of them since I had 2 SSD's of theirs die.

I only need about a 250 or 500 gb ssd and the budget has no limit just looking for the fastest I can get even if I had to get a larger ssd I don't know if the fastest ones come in 250 or 500 gb.

Good price $0.65 a gig sata 6 gbs not bad at all thanks for the good find you rock SR 71 just the thing to top off my z87m-g43. I tell you man this z87m-g43 rocks 100$ for it and has pci express 3.0 16x. The 4770k overclocked for 290$ with my h100 and 2 corsair pwm 120 sp for only 47$<--- thank you newegg refurbs. My processor is only pulling 5.6 watts when I surf the web and soon I will have a cheap but killer boot from my OS and some room for some simulators.
