Hey guys. I have 150-200 to spend on a new video card. I need it to play GLquake (yes Quake). My TNT and voodoo3 3500 run it fine but my friend cant get it to run on his ATI POS... (I dont like ATI). It also needs drivers for Red Hat 7.0. So I was looking at a GTS but now the Kyro2 is going to come out in the next week or two. I just have no idea if the Kyro2 will work in Linux. and then there is glQuake... I know the GTS is supported in Linux. If you guys have any input on what you would do I could use it. Thanks.

AMD for Life!

You where write, a gts is good, i think better than the kyro2
in drivers. I mean the gts is more compatible.

Its hard to beat a GTS in Quake, virtually every review I've read has the GTS on top. Plus nVidia dedicated themselves and actively support linux with top notch drivers. I have a Radeon but will soon buy a GF2 card for a second computer just for that reason, Linux.
