Need a Wireless Router. No idea what is good.

I have an older D-Link DIR 655 wireless router at present. It must be failing because my connection speeds drop down to the teens Mb/s (Download), low single digit Mb/s (Upload). If I leave the router's power unplugged for about 5 minutes, it regains its normal speeds of 90+ Mb/s Download, 10 MB/s Upload when plugged back in. So I'm assuming I need a new router.

But I have no idea what is good and what is not. Should I get another D-Link? Been good for a dozen or more years 24/7 use. I need wireless of course, and maybe 4 Ethernet ports.
The 2nd most important requirement, is it has to be EASY to install and set up. Cost? I'd like to keep it under $100 if possible. I don't need sophistication, just dependability.
Thank you.

I have ran a netgear wndr4500 that worked great for me. had it at far most outer wall in single level 1250sqft home and would get minimum 96 percent signal strength at opposite end of house. it worked well will the five devices connected. saw diminished speed once when I have media server downloading about ten large files and had ps4 streaming amazon prime with sons tablet streaming youtube red all on same band. other than that the router performed flawlessly for us. had to restart a few times but over about six months. I found it on ebay for about 110 and that was a year ago.
??? Really? There sure are a lot of wireless routers out there at that price and lower. I'm hoping that's just because we have a different opinion of what "decent" should be. I found this one that I have been considering, but have nothing to judge it by other than the customer reviews.

I updated my budget to $100. What would you recommend at that budget?
