Need advice: 1070 ti or 1080?

EVGA 1070 ti or 1080 (not ti)? Which do you feel would be better for someone that does little to no overclocking. Just plug it in and go with it. Seems pretty close with the 1080 benchmarking the same to a little higher, depending on site, but with 1070 ti being ~$150 cheaper.

1080. but theres around a $70~100 difference between the two. so up to you. 1080 have a 10% slight edge performance over the 1070ti but even when overclocked. the 1080 still have alot more edge on scenes where it has to do alot of multirendering (scenes that have a lot of moving objects with different physics like flowing water and clouds and flowing hair from the characters at the same time). your fps wont drastically drop on scenese like this with the 1080. but if you only play on 1080p@144Hz you cannot tell the differnce between the two. so take into account what kind of monitor are you gonna use with your GPU. if you want great performance more than that resolution/framerate, then definitely get a 1080.
