Hi.

Need some advice about buying ssd.
It’s between this 3:

Kingston kc3000 7000/7000 speed
Corsair mp600 core xt 5000/3500
Wd sn770 5150/4900 read/wright

Would any of this thermal trottle when using for gaming only without heatsink?
Heat is more important than get slightly faster ssd for me.

Price would be about the same, this pc would not be build by me and i cant add any heatsink to the ssd. Not neccesary on any of this models?
Does the motherboard Asus b650 plus have any ssd cooling on it?

I can almost guarantee it won't, because;

1) Games, don't depend on the SSD after it has been loaded (minimal read/writes)
2) Even under high loads, i doubt it will even reach the throttling range, if you have good airflow in your case, and no heat emitting components are nearby.

So, in short, in gaming, no you won't get that hot with those SSDs.

Yes that motherboard has a heatsink for the top M.2 slot. I would not want to run a gen 4 drive without a heatsink.

As to which is the best, I would recommend checking out the reviews for each, then deciding. Do you have any other options available to you?

The motherboard is not the prime version but i dont know if it have anything to say. It’s black and only have the b650 plus wifi name.
So behind that plate where it stand m2 they install ssd and put this plate/heatsink over?

Western Digital has been a great performer (as Nvme) for me and temperatures to my liking. Firmware updates are maintained even for now older drives.

Corsair aren't the fastest but are fairly dependable in my use, I'd use them more as a whatever I put on their is what stays on there kind of deal.

Kingston I can't speak to but hate their SD cards, they all have failed on me and since a SSD is essentially a giant more sophisticated SD card, me personally, would steer clear.

Seagate Drives perform well but the support and software for them in beyond abysmal.

Samsung. I don't trust Samsung anynore. It was my preferred but they do scummy things like release (just a different example) the SN970 Evo out for review, let it get good reviews, changed the NAND and Controller but didn't indicate it as a revision. I got lucky and had a mid run batch that had the new box but old chip set.

The point of that last two despite them not being listed, whichever of the three you choose, get down to the nitty gritty to look for any odd or questionable design changes and outside the box of just performance and reliability.
