Need advice about new gpu

Hi,
I want to buy gigabyte gtx 950 Windforce edition Gpu. Does this new gpu run on pci e 2.0 x16 slot with 500 watt psu? My pc is 4 years old.
My system configuration is-
Mobo - Gigabyte GA-990xa-ud3.
Psu - cooler Master rs 500 pcar d3 (500 watt).
Hdd- 1 tb.
Ram - 4 gb ddr3.
Processor- AMD phenom II black edition (4 core).

Srry, the gtx 950 isn't compatible with your mobo. A card for the same price that is compatible is the gtx 660, buy the asus, gigabyte or msi version of it.

What? Yes a 950 is most certainly compatible with his mobo.

What model 500watt psu do you have? Is it 4 years old as well?

In compatible gpu's the latest they have listed is the 600 series. I wouldn't use that site anymore Skittish their info seems out dated.

It even says not to use higher than pci-e 2 cards...

My Psu model name cooler Master rs500-pcar-d3 which is 500 watt. It has 6 pin pci-e power connector. It is 4 years old also. IS THERE ANY CHANCE OF BOTTLENECK TO MY NEW GPU?
