'ello. Now, I have one monitor that is 720p (unbeliveable, right?) and I want a new monitor (also I'm gonna be using this one as second one)

I have 3 monitors in mind now (I don't care much about the little details) One is 1600x900 w/DVI, one is 1080p w/DVI and the other is 1080 w/HDMI (I'm gonna show the currecy as "&" 'cause I don't know)

900p is 277&, 1080p w/DVI is 340& and the other 1080p w/HDMI is 420&. I'm kinda broke but my stalemate is will 900p will be enough for video editing and everyday stuff (I'm not planning to play games with FullHD) or should I go for 1080p? Also, is it actually worth to spend that much more for HDMI?

Thanks.

There is no discernible difference between DVI and HDMI. You won't notice a difference at all, I am using DVI myself before I am buying a graphics card.
Edit: There isn't a large difference between 900P and 1080P anyway.[/quotemsg]

one BIG difference between the two on 1080p 95% of the time the color quality is better[/quotemsg]

It is rare to find 900p monitors nowadays, definitely go for 1080p. HDMI is your decision, do you want to connect via HDMI? If you can go for a cheaper option without HDMI port then that is ok.

My prayers has been answered! Finally, a reply! Thanks by the way.

So, I can go for HDMI but is it worth to pay that much more? Also, as I said, my PC can't handle 1080p gaming anyways and I did quite well with 720p for a loooong time. That's why I asked 900p. Plus it is way cheaper!

Thanks again.

My specs: MSI G31TM-P35 Mobo
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 2.50 (running at 2.55)
ATI Radeon HD5850 1GB 256bit GDDR5 (Always overclocked, doesn't do much though)
450W PSU
2x500GB Seagate Barracuda HDDs
(I don't know the last one will help but whatever)

Note that the sites will be in Turkish but you can always search for the models.

900p: http://www.vatanbilgisayar.com/philips-195-203v5lsb-genis-ekran-led-tv.html (277)
1080p w/DVI: http://www.vatanbilgisayar.com/lg-21-5-22m38a-genis-ekran-led-monitor.html (343)
1080p w/HDMI: http://www.vatanbilgisayar.com/samsung-215-s22d300h-genis-ekran-led-monitor.html (420)

As I said I don't have much money plus I need 2 monitors rather than a big one.

Thanks.

get two of the cheaper 1080p monitors[/quotemsg]

But.. That is the cheapest. And my desk is small. I just need to know if HDMI is worth to pay more. I'll probably buy 900p anyways 'cause as I said, I don't like big monitors. I get motion sickness or what ever.

Thank you both for your helps and no. Color doesn't bug me much because I punched my monitor couple of times and some parts are brighter but I'm okay with it :D And if HDMI isn't much of a difference except color then I'll be fine with DVI. And since I'm used to small screen, plus I need dual monitors rather than big one (as I said, I get motion sickness or something) I'll probably go for 900p since it's cheaper as well.

Thank you both again for your helps. I was just about to lose hope :D
