Need advice building a new Gamer PC

Hey everyone and thanks for viewing and helping with my problem. Im currently thinking about building a new PC since my present one is almost 2 years old. Since the price of the GTX 780 dropped, i wanted to go with a possible SLI Setup in the near future. Since I have little experience in building a custom PC and even less in SLI Setups i was hoping for your help. I appreciate your help, Thanks !

As im not experienced enough i´d like to ask some questions for my understandment. I am in no way doubting your choice!
1. Why did you choose AMD CPU over Intel ?
2. Is 650 W enough for SLI ?
3. What is the difference between those two ?

1.Budget,i suppose.A comparable 4670K + z87 mobo should cost more than the AMD CPU and mobo above
2. Nope.650W is for one card,going by specs from gigabyte.If these true,then you should be looking at 1200w and above for a sli setup. May i ask why you intend on a sli setup? A single 780 can and will max almost all games out there.
3.I think it has to do with the card temps or noise levels.One of these should be lower in rev 2.

For SLI you could get a XFX ProSeries 1250W 80 PLUS Gold Certified PSU.

But navask01 is right: One 780 is enough for any game at 1080p.

Yes i know one 780 is enough for everything i do at the moment, but since im almost finished with my apprenticeship and have more money to "waste" i might get more screens or at least higher resolution than Full HD. Ah i dont know >.< and if i have the chance for SLI id really like to try it, if even just once. 😀
