Hello everyone, im kinda new to pc building.. The last few months im trying to build my first gaming pc and I've chosen these parts:
CPU- Ryzen 5 1600
GPU- I will probably go with the MSI 1070
Mobo- B350 tomahawk
RAM- G.Skill Trident-Z DDR4 16GB 3200mhz
PSU- EVGA 650bq 80+ bronze
HDD- 2TB Barracuda
SSD- 250GB
CASE- NZXT H500

So these are the parts that im going to buy and build my new pc, I will not go with 1440p becauce i cant afford the money for such a monitor. I will go with 1080p 240hz. Is that a good idea or should I save money and go for 1440p? Also, I need your opinion about the build. Is it good? Should I change anything for something else?

*Note: I am not going to buy a cpu cooler since as I've seen from reviews, the wraith spire cooler that comes with ryzen 5 1600 is a very good cooler on its own.

will work well except the psu quality
I will get a different unit.
What games do you play?
140 fps can not be reached in AAA titles. CSGO should be fine.
To me, a 1080p 144hz gsync monitor is ideal.
Budget and country? If 2600 and B450 not much more, I will get those.

What's wrong with the psu quality? Do you mean that i should go for a higher watt PSU?
I live in greece and the 2600 is 10 euro more expensive than the 1600. As for the b450, thats 30 euro more expensive than the b350... I want to play games like far cry primal, far cry 4-5, battlefield 1, witcher 3 etc...

850 BQ review: https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/evga-bq-series-850w-psu,4842-11.html

Major con is lacking of protection.

quality decides if the psu can supply power consistently and if it is reliable. BQ is not good. If I were you, I will go for 2600 or wait for 3600 if price is similar. They are releasing soon, 2600 can be overclocked higher than 1600 and will be beneficial for your 1070 to reach towards 144 fps in AAA titles ,compared to 1600.

Yeah you right, 10 euro isnt much for a better cpu, so as you said i will go with the 2600.. Want to ask you something else tho, will the ram work at 3200mhz with the b350 tomahawk or will i have to overclock it for that?

if you go with 2600, go with B450 for better ram compatibility. Unless the ram is on QVL list, nobody can guarantee. However, B450/2600 will be very likely to run 3200 compared to B350. You can try XMP first. If it doesn't work, you can try different timing to make it work. Not overclocking to me, just different setting as long as the voltage is not too much.

Alright I changed the parts a bit, I will go with the ryzen 5 2600.. For PSU I will go with EVGA 650 B3.. As for the motherboard, I did a bit of research and discovered the aorus gigabyte B450 pro.. The look on the motherboard is amazing with the rgb lighting and all that stuff, is close to the price of the b350 tomahawk and as you said it will be a better choice for 3200mhz ram.. Forgot to mention that since the CPU cooler that comes with the 2600 isnt that good, I will spend an extra 35 euros on buying the Article Freezer 33 ESports... What do you think about these choices?

stock cooler with 2600 is still pretty viable. I will just keep the cooler first.
B3 is better than BQ, but still not good to buy imo. It blew up in one of tomshardware's tests.
If on budget, corsair TX650M is recommended. Do you have a website for pricing?

Its skroutz.gr ...
The PSU you are talking about runs at 103 euros atm, so that's like 20 euros more expensive than the b3 one. I saw tomshardware's review on that PSU and says that on high temperatures the fan spins a lot faster and then its not that quiet. Have you tried that PSU yourself?

alright i will see what i can do with that PSU. You have helped me a ton but i want to ask you one more thing. The gtx 1070 msi is 450 euro here and the gtx 1070 g1 gaming gigabyte is 400 euro and it will much the build with the rgb lighting much better, than the red plastic of the 1070 msi version. Should i buy the gigabyte version? As ive seen from reviews the card is a bit noisy tho
