Need advice for a monitor

I'm building my first computer, and need a suggestion for a monitor.

I'm going to have an i5 8400, EVGA GTX 1080 SC and 16 GB ram. I play games like Assassins Creed origins/Syndicate and Odyssey (when it comes out next week), Witcher 2 and 3, GTA5.

Right now I am using a 23" 1080p 60Hz display, but I want to get something better.

My budget is about $500. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The monitor I linked has gsync and is $20 cheaper than that one. The 1080 is going to have issues getting anywhere near 100fps in AAA titles on ultrawide 1440p, so you get screen tearing.

That one has 8ms response time and anything over 4 or 5 is generally considered not good for gaming. The one I linked is 3ms on its lower setting, 1ms on its fastest.

If you really hate the Dell, get the XB1 instead.

Here is the monitor I'm looking at

3440x1440, 34" ultrawide, 100 Hz. No G-Sync, but I don't have enough for that.

I'm thinking that should be good with a GTX 1080
