New to PC gaming. My budget is around $1200.Going to be playing 1080p 144hz. Want a good amount of RGB in my PC.
Gaming PC This is what I was thinking plus a NVIDIA Geforce RTX 2070 Super GPU and a Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive that I'm buying off a friend for $20. Any thoughts??

Do you have a Micro Center near you? If so they are having a great sale right now.

I have a 2070S and its a good gpu but for almost $100 less you can get the 5700xt. Ray tracing is all your missing and when you turn it on you lose a few to a lot of FPS depending on the game title. If you play on-line shooters ray tracing can be the loss of FPS that gets you killed. For single player games then yes, the 2070S can provide some draw dropping results such as Red Dead 2. I'm on a 1440p IPS monitor. I'm a big fan of 1440p on IPS displays. Amazing, rich and colorful gaming experience.

Yeah, I'd really push the 5700xt and invest more in the cpu. And you get another $20 off a bundle with a motherboard.

The Ryzen 3600x for $160 is a screaming deal.

Saw this too, under $400 for the 3600x and Gigabyte Auros Pro Wifi. That's a great platform to start with. A 5700xt can be had for $400. That's the guts of a solid build with a long life ahead of it.

As long as it's a good quality unit 650W is plenty, with the 2070S the OP could even go 550W.
