Hello. I wanted to add a PCIe SSD in my desktop computer. My PC has PCIe 3.0 x16 slot. But in the specs sheet of my PC, under PCIe SSD, they have written a sentence “up to 350GB”.

Does this really mean that i cannot add SSD more than 350GB ???

I am asking this question because in specs sheet, under SATA SSD section, they have written “upto 512GB”. But 1TB SATA SSD is working fine with my system.

So, do i need to worry about 350GB ???

You can refer to the following links for my system specification:

Those are just the sizes available when the (now several year old) machine was sold new from Dell. You should not have any issues with sizes greater than 350GB.
If you only have a single CPU. there are some PCIe slots that won't be enabled.
