I'm upgrading a prebuilt PC I've got with the following parts:

Intel Core i7 2600 CPU
Powercolor Radeon HD6670 1GB Graphics Card
Kingston ValueRAM KVR1333D3N9K2/8G 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
ASRock P67-PRO Motherboard B3

And I need to know the amount of wattage I will need for these parts for a new power supply. I've tried power calculators, but really its kinda my first time doing this so it seemed a bit complicated, and even though the minimum power requirement for the graphics card said 400w, the calculator came out with 234w altogether, so if someone could please help me I would be really grateful.
Thanks in advance.

The OVERALL system uses 234 watts just like your power supply calculator said. You need 400w to not have your power supply running at close to 100% all the time. You really could use a 350w power supply and be fine. It's hard to find quality in those low ranges though. Either power supply I recommended will be more than good for what you have.

Check this out, using Furmark a program that stresses the GPU more than any game ever will the most the HD6670 used was 92w.
The ENTIRE system in that test drew 194 watts. The HD6670 does not even require a power connector from the power supply. It gets all it's power from the PCI-Express slot.

Trust me, I actually know what...

I would say, with a i7 2600k your definitely going to want to go with a 450watt and up. Something else to keep in mind, will you EVER be upgrading your graphics card in the future? If so, maybe you'll want a good 'ol 600watt. NOW THINK ABOUT THIS! You really get what you pay for with PSU's. Don't buy that peice of crap $5 800watt that will explode in four days. I would recommend this. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_SPM5215122501P?sid=IDx20101019x00001b&srccode=cii_18492716&cpncode=26-106100546-2

An i7 2600 is only a 95w processor. With a HD6670 I would get a a quality 400-450w power supply.

Corsair, Seasonic, PC Power and Cooling, XFX, Silverstone, Enermax, OCZ and Antec are all good brands.

ttg_avenged you need to revise what you know about power supplies. The Thermaltake TR2 is one of the worst on the market to the effect it can damage your computer it's so bad. And buying from Sears when newegg and NCIX are out there is just crazy.

Incendion this is a great power supply for your needs. $38 after rebate.

A small step down but still good and very cheap. $25 after rebate.

If the CPU is 95w and the graphics card is 400w then how will 430-450w be enough? Also there will be the included fans and such.

Trust me, I actually know what I'm talking about. 600 watts would run a GTX 580 ( and the rest of your computer).

You may want a larger power supply if you plan on upgrading the GPU. In that case a good 550w unit will handle all but the most expensive GPUs. A GTX 580 is $450.
