I need to purchase a replacement graphics card for my 4 year-old Cybertron desktop computer. The current card is a ZOTAC GeForce GTX770 2GD5 X16 2DVI HDM (ZT-70301-10P). It has been having problems on and off for a long time, but has gotten much worse recently. When I open games now, it starts "artifacting" (a new word I just learned). Here are the rest of the computer specs:

AMD FX 8350 4.00 GHz C8 AM3+ RET (FD8350FRHKBOX)
GIGABYTE AM3+ V X16 4D3 M32 GL R MATX (GA-78LMT-USB3)
Crucial 8 GB DDR3-1600 PC3-12800 Ballistix (BLS8G3D1609DS1S0)
Toshiba 500 GB SATA3 7200 RPM 32 MB Cache (HDKPC01)
LG DVD+RW DL 24x SATA Black (GH24NSBOB)
Corsair RM550x PSU

The most taxing game I play is SecondLife. Tech support from Cybertron recommended the PNY NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 2GB Graphics Card (VCGGTX10502PB). However, people on this forum offered great suggestions in helping me select a new power supply last year, so I would like to hear more from you. Thanks in advance for your advice.

If possible you should to get a 1050 ti the GTX770 is probably faster in some games compared to standard 1050 , I know Evga has some deals right now on "B" stock items that still carry 1 year warranty.

Assuming I don't want to ignore the quality, what would you recommend? Specifics with regard to brand and model # would be appreciated.

The RM550x is a good quality PSU.

On Amazon, Evga GeForce GTX 1050 Ti comes in Single Fan, SC Single Fan, FTW ACX 3.0, and SSC ACX 3.0. Is there a specific one you would recommend?

My budget is flexible. I am not a big gamer, but I would like to get a good rendering when I play SecondLife.
