Hi, I need some advice... I want to replace my old GF4 MX460 with a newer card, but I think that my CPU/chipset would be a bottleneck for a high-end card, so I want to get a low-end/midrange one that would be the most adequate considering my specs (see below)... i was thinking of GeForce 6600GT AGP... anyway, any help would be appreciated. BTW, sorry for my English.

My specs:
Mobo: MSI 648 MAX
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 2.53Mhz FSB533
768MB DDR333
MSI GeForce MX460

P.S. I would like to get a card that would produce descent performance in World of Warcraft. And one more thing - would 768MB RAM be sufficient for playing WoW smoothly?
Edited by Ko3a on 04/11/05 09:04 PM.

Yep. A 6600GT is a great buy in AGP, but the vanilla 6800 is better.

Actually, I don't think you'll have much bottleneck. In other words, shoot as high as you can when buying a video card (recommend ATI x850 or nvidia 6800 GT ULTRA). On the issue of RAM and World of Warcraft, HIGHLY recommend at least 1 GB (trust me, from personal experience).
