I'm new to the computer building scene and have encountered an issue with my GPU not being recognized. First I will provide my specs:
MOBO:gigabyte ga-z97x-UD3H
CPU: Intel i5 4690k Devils Canyon
Ram: 16 GB ripjaws
GPU: MSI Radeon R9 390 8G
Storage:500gb ssd, 1tb hdd
PSU: 750 W
currently I am running on the integrated graphics because i cannot get my system to recognize that i have a graphics card. The card powered up and fans are running. I have attempted to install the drivers from the disk in the box to no avail. MSI live update 6 was put onto my desktop from the disk and it continually tells me that the platform does not support this application. I am running windows 10 x64. I have attempted to download both amd and radeon drives from online with no luck either. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Please note that this is my first ever pc build so dumbed down terminology would help immensely.
